ISO/IEC 17025: 

This is the Industrial laboratory Quality management standard.  Laboratory accreditation is started in India in the end of eighty’s, ISO Guide 25 was the standard for laboratory accreditation, this standard was modified as ISO/IEC  17025 it was modified again in the year of 2005 and published as ISO/IEC 17025:2005, Now current Industrial laboratory accreditation standard is ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

In India NABL has adopted ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 for accreditation for Industrial laboratory.
